This film follows a gang out outlaws holed up in their safehouse after a bank robbery gone bad. They argue and try to decide what to do, and who is to blame, as a posse of lawmen surround the building. I'm so thankful for everyone who helped me bring this project to life, you're all awesome! This is a documentary I've spent the last three months putting together. I heard the stories my Grandma would tell, and when I found a box of his stuff I knew there was a great story that had to be told. I scanned over 300 documents and photos and poured many hours into researching his life and connections. There's so much more to tell, but I could only fit so much into this documentary. This newsreel was shot on 8mm and 16mm film at D-Day Ohio 2022, the only things not shot on film are the title cards! This can came in a set of 6 from the same family, I'm hoping to find them! This can was labeled "Rogers City Pictures" on the outside and "Boat in Rogers City (March 1948), Lop Ears, Bob's Confirmation" on the inside. The name Bob Erkfitz and Erkfitz Plumbing and Heating are the biggest clues. The middle of the film features family footage. The final 3 minutes features incredible never before seen footage of John F. Kennedy's funeral. This roll of Kodachrome shows some pretty amazing scenes of Yongsan Garrison, US Army personnel, and downtown Seoul in the late 50's or early 60's. The box is dated 1961, but it could have been shot earlier.
